Abstract: Rapid propagation of different parts from different organs of Photinia glomerata in vitro was studied. The results showed that the high germination rate of axially bud from the explants of stump shoot and potted seedling appears on the medium of MS+6-BA2 mg·L-1+NAA 0.5 mg·L-1. The most numerous and sturdy plantlet appears on the medium of MS+6-BA4mg·L-1+NAA 0.1 mg·L-1 during breeding. The roots grow well on the medium of 1/2 MS+IBA 0.25 mg·L-1. The reasons of lower strike root rate were discussed and the improved measures were put forward.
