Abstract: We analyze ct-DNA of tomato which is resistant and sensitive to TMV with restriction enzyme. Our electrophoretogram of BamHI, EcoRI. Pst I is similar to other report.Molecular weight of ct-DNA is 156. 9kb, it is similar to others' study. We find some difference in BamHI EcoRI, PSt I electrophoretogram between resistant group and sensitive group. We guess this maybe the alternation of base sequence or insertion or deletion of short DNA sequence. We also infer that nucleus genome and chloroplast genome together decide the resistance of plant to Tobbacco Mossic Virus.
