RAPD ANALYSIS ON SOME SPECIES OF BERBERRIDACEAE

Abstract

Abstract: The fresh leaves of Berberidaceae were collected as materials including 5 genera and 6 species:Berberis julianae Schneid., Berberis thunbergii DC., Mahonia bealei (Fort.)carr., Nandina domesrtica Thunb., Epimedium sagittatum(S.et Z.)Maxim., Dysosma versipellis (Hance)M.Cheng.. The total DNA were isolated by improved CTAB method. 60 random primers produced by Sangon were screened and 29 could amplify good RAPD Products. The dendrogram was constructed from genetic distances through UPGMA method, and the phylogeny of Berberidaceae was discussed based on it.
