Abstract: In this paper, genome constitution of Thinopyrum intermedium were studied by systematic cytogenetic analysis and N-banding of somatic cell. The results indicated that there are no B genome of Triticum in Thinopyrum intermedium, but there are two distant homologous genome in Th.intermedium.The two distant homologous genome of Th.intermedium are not from diploid Thinopyrium elongatum.
