Abstract: Besides endogenous plant hormones, nutritive material is another important factor that affects the rooting of Larix olgensis. The results of experiment demonstrated that dissolvable sugar and nitrogen levels exist divergence in cuttings of different age of seed-tree, They were higher in cuttings of young seed-tree. It is proved by experiments that nutrition especially the dissolvable sugar and nitrogen levels are important. When the contents are plentiful, the rate of rooting are higher, and the ratio between dissolvable sugar and nitrogen is not a ideal target to express the capability of rooting of Larix olgensis.
