Abstract: The genetic structures of four Aralia elata population were investigated using the method of horizontal starch gel electrophoresis.Eleven putative loci from ten enzyme systems were statistical analysis. The results showed very high genetic variability in population of Aralia elata, with percentage of polymorplic loci of 72.73%, an average number of alleles perlocus of 1.72, the expected hetrozygote was 0.5617, the meams of Genetic identity and genetic distance were 0.9865and 0.0133.The results are basically in accordance with the results by analysing the characters of morphology and TLC.in the pretext. It indicated that the specimens are two varieties of the same species.
