In process of writing the 《Flora of China》, based on specimens and Iiteratures examined, the classification of several species of Leguminosae and Lauraceae in China is revised.Five new combinations, four new synonyms and reinstatment of one specific name are made here in present paper.Five new combinations are:
Desmodium strigillosum
var.
pendenticarpum
(C.Z.Gao et Q.R.Lai) P.H.Huang,
Desmodium flexuosum
var.
cordifoliolatum
(P.C.Li) P.H.Huang,
Podocarpium densum
(C.Chen et X.J.Cui) P.H.Huang,
Podocarpium podocarpum
var.
mandshuricum
(Maxim.) P.H.Huang and
Podocarpium podocarpum
var.
japonicum
(Matsum.) P.H.Huang.Four new synonyms are as follows:
Litsea lii
C.E.Chang and var.
nunkao-tahangensis
(Liao) Liao are recognized as new synonym of
Litsea pseudoelongata
Liou,
L.akoensis
var.
chitouchiaoensis
Liao is recognized as a new synonym of
Litsea hayatae
Kanehira and
Desmodium densum
(C.Chen et X.J.Cui) H.Ohashi is recognized as a new synonym of
Podocarpium densum
(C.Chen et X.J.Cui) P.H.Huang.
Litsea taiwanian
a Kamikoti is a legitimate name of reinstatment because
Litsea pedicellata
is preocupied.

Guandi Mountains, located in the middle of Luliang Ranges, is situated between 37°20'~38°20'N latitude and 110°18'~111°18'E longitude in western Shanxi. There is a typical warm-temperate continental monsoon climate in the mountains, which is cool and arid in winter, however, warm and rainy in summer. It is now known that there are 737 species of seed plants, belonging to 335 genera and 85 families in Guandi Mountains, among which temperate distribution compositons make significant dominant. It has 249 genera and make 85.67% in total genera(excluding cosmopolitan).Based on the analysis of the flora of species and genera and constructive species and dominant of the vegetation in Guandi Mountains, it is indicated that the flora has some typical characteristics of warm-temperate deciduous broadleave forest.Compared with the flora and the vegetation of Taiyue Mountains, the southern segment of Taihang Mountains in Shanxi and Taibai Mountains, Qinling Ranges in Shanxi, there is higher homogeneitive and closely relationship between Guandi Mountains and the southern segment of Taihang Mountains; however, there is some significant differences between Guandi Mountains and Taibai Mountains, Qinling Ranges.

Abstract This paper reported the studies of overall embryology of
Rhodiola sachalinensis
A.Bor..Development of the anther wall followed the Basic type.Part of the tapetal cells divided into regular two layers.Tapetal cells was uninucleate or binucleate, and blonged to the secretory type.Meiosis of microspore mother cell was normal and cytokinesis was of the simultaneaus type. The tetrad was tetrahedral in shape. The mature pollen grains were 2-celled.The ovule was anatropous, bitegminous, crassinucellate and nucellar beak was formed during the development of the ovule. The megaspore mother cell went meiosis to form a linear tetrad. The chalazal megaspore was functional. The development of the embryo sac was conformed as the Polygonum type.In mature embryo sac, the nuclei of the egg cell and synergids located in the chalazal part of the cells and the microplar part of the cells possessed vacuoles; two polar nucleus fused into the secondary nucleus, and located near the chalazal end of egg cell; three antipodal cells degenerated. The fertilization belonged to the premitotic type of syngamy; the development of the endosporm belonged to the cellular type. The first division of endosperm cell given rise to two cells, the chalazal cell developed into haustorioum without division. The development of the embryo belonged to the Caryophyllad type.In 2-celled proembryo basic cell became much enlarged and formed sacciform haustorium which invade the micropylar.

Adenophora lobophylla
Hong.endangered species, and
A.potaninii
, Korsh.extentive species, have been observed and compared. The results show that two species have obvious difference in anatomical characteristics of the leaf and the stem. The anatomical characteristics demonstrate that
A.potaninii

A.lobophylla

The combination of D
2
type cytoplasm and certain nucleus can cause wheat to be sensitive to long-day condition(≥ 15 hours)with the expression of pistillody of stamens and pollen abortion.Observation of tranverse sections using the scanning eletron microscope revealed that pistillate stamens contained ovule-like structures but had no ovule tissue、tapetal cells and pollen grains.Comparison was made using unidirectional SDS-PAGE technique among soluble proteins of chloroplast、mitochondria and cytoplasm derived from wheat(c)-N26(D
2
type cytoplasm) and wheat N26(B type cytoplasm, the same nucleric genome). The SDS-PAGE maps of soluble proteins of chlorplast、mitochondria and cytoplasm derived from(c)-N26 under a short-day condition(≤ 14.5hours)showed no difference to that of N26 under a long-day condition. But there were distinct differences between SDS-PAGE maps of(c)-N26 cultured on the long-day condition and short-day condition respectively. The trends is the reduction of proteins. So it can be infered from the facts above that on the long-day condition pistillody of stamens in D
2
PCMS line is probably relation to repression of genes expression in nuclei、chloroplast and mitochondria.
