CLASSIFICATION AND NUTRITIOUS VALUE OF KOTUR AMUT(PYRUS COMMUNIS. L)

Abstract: This paper, according to historical facts, confirmed that Xinjiang is a home of pears since the ancient times and that Kotur Amut is a local species. According to it's morphological characters and structures Kotur Amut does not belong to Pyrus armeniacaefolia, but belongs to Pyrus communis. L. By analyzing nutritious value in quality and quantity, it's chemical composition was cleared and confirmed that Kotur Amut is a local fruit with relatively high nutritious value.
