Abstract: There are more than 80 species of caragana all over the world.They are important resource plants.It has the sistory of almost 200 years for studying.In this paper, three parts of main studying points are summerized, which in clude (1) study of classification, (2)floristic study, (3)study of exploiting and utilizing the plant resources of caragana. On the basis of summing up study success in caratgana, the author raised preliminary conception in diection of research in order to open to discussion.
