Abstract: Schisandra chinensis (Magnoliaceae) is valuable medical materials. Because the relation between fruits set of S. chinensis and component of validity and geographic environment is very close, we selected three representative regions in the Northeast of China which grows 5. chinensis:Chang Bai Shan region (Liao Ning province Xin Bin country), Zhang Guang Chai Ling region (Wei He for-estry bureau), Xiao Xing An Ling region (Yi Chun Tao Shan forestry bureau) for studying. In present paper the neural network teehnology was adopted. The artificial modei of the relation betvveen fruits set and geographic environment were built. Basing on this modei we researched relation betvveen mac-roscopic fruits set of S. chinensis and geographic environment. The results indicated that the relation between temperature and fruits set is most closed. The fruits set of 5. chinensis that distributes in regions and reserves of resources were provided and new method that calculates reserves of resources was provided. Through calculating and analyzing we conclude that Xiao Xing An Ling region with higher fruits set is more feasible area that S. chinensis grows.
