REVIEW OF THE CLASSIFICAL SYSTEM ON THE GENUS SOPHORA

Abstract: After publication of the study on the genus Sophora, author makes the systematic study on the parts of the geographical distribution,a variational trend of main morphylogical characteristic and some chemical matters in the genus Sophora, and the relationship with near genera once again. Results shewed trend of evalution on Sophora plants was:tree to shrub or subshrub to herb, pinnately compounds leaves to unifolialate leaves, stipelate to instipelate, panicle to raceme, a connection of calyx has been increasing gradually, bracteolate to bractless, legume carpodermis is carnous or subcarnous to ligniferous to lethery, indehiscence to bivalve dehiscence to tetravalves dehiscence, For the above reason, we proposed the Sophora systematic tree, and revied systematic position of all taxa.
