Abstract: The pteridophyte flora of Shanxi is preliminary studied in this paper.We have gained some general conclusion in the following 4th points:1.Itis obvious temperate characters. 2. Th Province is a part of thecentre of East-Asian elements. 3. Species are rare in general families andgenus. 4. Endemic phenomena are not obvious. In this paper, the pteridophyte flora of Shanxi is compared withsome other areas and the result shows that this flora is most similar tothat of Beijing and Hebei on affinity. Besides above-mentioned content, the distributive features, ecologicalforms and pteridophyte resources are summed up in this paper.
