Abstract: Abies yuanbaoshanensis is endangered plant and only distributing on Yuanbaoshan mountain, Guangxi. Its reproductive capacity is so inferior. The number of fir-apples and seeds for Abies yuanbaoshanensis unit are difference. The relationship among length, diameter and number, quality of seed is signalization. The weight for kilo grains of seeds are 16.9581 g, containing water 12.85%.The water absorption of seeds of Abies yuanbaoshanensis clearly showed three stages:the first in 0~1 hours, the rapid absorption;the second stager in 1~10 hours, the stagnant;the third stage in 10~339 hours, is the fast reabsorption, especially in 10~15 hours. The rate of burgeon up for satiety seeds in the incubator that constant temperature and humidity are 18.9%, while the rate is 6.8% for open air. The main cause for continuing and extending the population is inferior capability of seeds for burgeon.
