Abstract: In this paper, the Quercus variabilis forests in Manghe Natural Conservation were studied using methods of hierarchical classification, polar ordination(PO), principal component analysis(PCA), and correspondence analysis(CA).As a result, the Quercus variabilis forests were divided into five associations. Furthermore, the analysis of PO, PCA and CA reflected the continuous changes of vegetation and the environmental variation.
