Abstract: This paper reports the new distribution of Equisetum ramosissium Desf.var. japonicum (named by Milde, 1865 according to Japonese specimens) in Shandong Province, P. R. China. A new combination, Hippochaete ramosissium (Desf.) Böerner var. japonica (Milde) J. X. Li et F. Q. Zhou, comb.nov. is also presented.
