Abstract: A revision is given of the taxa in Yunnan and usually included in Phalarideae Kunth. There are three genera, 8 species and 2 varieties, Hierochloe R. Br. with 1 species, Anthoxanthum L. with 4 species and 1 variety, Phalaris L. with 3 species and 1 variety. Among them, 1 species and one variety are new to science, 3 species are new to the China Flora. The present report deals principally with Yunnan Grasses which are now subjected to systematical investigation in Preparation for the Flora of Yunnan scheduled for publication in 1990.
