Abstract: The writers analysed dormant buds of 80 self-redoubled pollen plants of P. xiaohei for peroxide isozyme zymograms in winter 1988, and found difference between the plants. The zymograms of them could be sharply devided into two types. One was complete same as that of original plant and made up 22%, the other was different, and there was a Bband more than the zymogram of original plant in B region, and this type amounted to 78%. Whether the shape segregation among plants or the difference of peroxide isozyme zymograms, it was fully showed that the haploid plants of P. xiaohei originated from pollen. They were the expression of pollens recombinated in chromosomes at plant lever, the experiment also proved that the peroxide isozyme zymograms of dormand buds from pollen plants of P. xiaohei were stable and were able to be used for identifing poplar clones. Therefore, using peroxide isozyme to identify clones of poplar would give important role in forestry production.
