STUDIES ON THE POLLEN MORPHOLOGY OF PINACEAE IN CHINA

Abstract: The present paper deals with studies of the pollen morphology of the family pinaceae in China, containing 9 genera: Pinus, Abies, Picea, Cathaya, Pseudolarix, Cedrus, Keteleeria, Tseuga and Larix, and 61 species. The pollen grains of these genera and species were examined all with the light micro-scope, those of some genera and species were examined with scanning and transmision electron microscope.
