Lectotypifications of Ten Names in Ferns

Abstract: In collating the type specimens deposited at the Herbarium (PE), Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the types of ten names, Adiantum smithianum(C.Christ.) R.C.Ching var. shensiense R.C.Ching(Adiantaceae), A.venustum Don var. smithianum C.Christ.(Adiantaceae), Athyrium woodsioides Christ(Athyriaceae), Diplazium allantodioides R.C.Ching(Athyriaceae), D.taquetii C.Christ.(Athyriaceae), Woodwardia cochin-chinensis R.C.Ching (Blechnaceae), Dryopteris athyriiformis Rosenst.(Dryopteridaceae), Hymenophyllum corrugatum Christ var. elongatum Christ(Hymenophyllaceae), Diacalpe omeiensis R.C.Ching(Peranemaceae), Cyclophorus alcicornu H. Christ(Polypodiaceae), of taxa in Pteridophyta are found to be syntypes under Article 9.5 of the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature(Melbourne Code). According to Article 8.1, 9.11 and 9.12, and Recommendation 9A.2 and 9A.3, lectotypes for these ten names are here designated.
