Based on the microscopic characters of epidermis of leaf blade, transverse section of leaf blade, pollen and starch grain, the systematic position of the genus Sinochasea which is an endemic genus on the Qing-Zang Plateau has been studied in the present paper. According to the information of related taxa of this genus furnished by professor Yi-li Keng, the control experiments of Duthiea brachypodia (P. Candargy) Keng et Keng f. of Aveneae, Stephanachne paposhorea (Hack.) Keng of Stipeae, Dewuxia moupinensis (Franch.) Pilger and Calamagrostis epigeios (L.) Roth of Agrostideae, which were chosen as examined species representing these tribes in this paper have been made. The results show that the difference between the S.trigyna Keng and the D. brachypodia (P. Candargy) Keng et Keng f. in the above-mentioned microscopic characters is the smallest, the difference between the S. trigyna Keng and the S. pappophorea (Hack.) Keng is secondary, and the difference between the S. trigyna Keng and the D. moupinensis (Franch.) Pilger or the C. epigeios (L.) Roth is the biggest among these species; in systematic position, the genus Sinochasea should be in the tribe Aveneae the D. brachypodia (P. Candargy) keng et Keng f. belongs to, but not in the tribe Stipeae or Agrostideae; the tribe Aveneae is more primitive than the tribe Stipeae or Agrostideae inphylogenetic development, and the latter two tribes maybe derive from the tribe Aveneae directly or indirectly.

There are 10 species of genus Papaver in Xinjiang-Province in North Western china, 6 of them to sect. Meconella, The scape anatomy reveals that vascular bundle character, which includes its number and arrangement corresPOnds to each species, and it may be a identification character for this section. The scanning electron microsopy of POllen grains shows that the spinule density on the POllen surface is different in some species, and it could provide some micromorphological evidence for classification.

The geographical compositions of bryoflora are predominant temperate elements. Bryophytes of the Guancen Mountains forest area is close relative with those of the North china and is distant relative with those of the South China. The moss is in close relationship with its zonal vegetation.

Pollen morphology of 2 Genus, 14 species, 2 varieties and 1 form of Geraiaceae in Northeastern China was investigated. And the key to species of Geraniaceae was done. The results showed that there are two types of pollen graino. (1)3-colporate. Sculpture pattern of exine tuberculate (Geranium), (2) 3-colpus. Sculpture pattern of exine reticulate (Erndium). In the taxonomy of Geranium. the size of pollen grain. length of colpus, even degree of exine tectum. lumina diameter. ornament on the muri and even degree of tubercles of exine sculpture, size, sculpture pattern on the tubercle vary with each taxon. And the taxonomy of pollen morphology of Geraniaceae reached a consensus with the classiacl systematics of this family.

All stages of gametophytes development of 10 species belonging to genera in Athyriaceae (Ching 1964. 1982) from Northeastern China were cultured and comparatively studied. It may supply the evidence with gametopyte development for systematic taxonomy based on the sporophyte. The prothalli are naked in Athyrium, Pseudocystopteris and Ailantodia. The filaments are 3-5 cells long. It appears that there are no distintive differences among their development of gametophytes. The hairs occur when the anterior part of prothallial plate are 5-6 cells broad stage in Lunathyrium and Dryoathyrium, and the hairs are all long club-shaped. But the former is longer and the original hairs paralled to longitudinal axis of the prothallus, the latter is shorter and the original hairs slightly slope down to the apical notched. In Gyrnnocarpium the hairs occur when the anterior part of the prothallial plate are about 8 cells broad stage, slender club-shaped, distributed regularly. And in cystopteris the hairs occur when 10-12 cells broad stage or even more later, short club-shaped, distributed sparsely.Palea-like hairs often occur on the prothallus in Neaothyrium. Its cell size of fallment are larger than any genus in this family. The antheridium is rather wide at its base and shaped in broad trigular globose which differ with other genera. As mention above 5 of the genera possess significant individual features in galnetopyte development, but the 3 other genera are devoid of generic characteristic respectively. Pseudocystopteris and Allantodia are similar to Athyrium in it.

Some leaves of 6 species and 4 varieties from Brassica L. are studied on flavonoides in the thin-layer chromatography. All leaves are collected from the plants with the same ecologic environment, cultivated condition and growth period. They are divided into 3 type saccording to the chromagrophy. We have views in common with taxonomy that the plants of Brassica L. are divided into wild cabbage-type, Peking cabbage-type and Leaf Mustard-type. The observation from cultivating and the cytology data lead to the taxonomic study of Brassica L.

We measured the seasonal changes of photosynthetic and transpiration characters of Puc-cinellia tenuiflora, both natural growth and one to three-year planted P. tenuiflora on alkalized Songnen grassland. The curve of seasonal changes of photosynthetic rate of P. tenuiflora is one-peaked. The pohotosynthetic rate at heading stage is the maximum. The transpiration rate of P. tenuiflora decreased with the progress of fertility period, but the curve of transpiration rate of P. tenuiflora population per unit grassland area is one-peaked. The maximum values of one-year, two-year and three-year P. tenuiflora are in florescence, the maximum value of natural growth P. tenuiflora is at heading stage. The seasonal changes of water use efficiency of P. tenuiflora is one-peaked curve, the maximum values are at heading stage.

Effects of mixed salt stress on photosynthetic characters is different to short term (6d) and long term (45d) salinity in Puccinelliatenuiflora seedlings. Photosynthetic rate is not inhibited under short term salt stress less than 1.0% mixed salt until relative high salinities are attained, and may be stimulated at lower salinities. The decline in stomatal conductance with increase in salinity was accompanied by a nearly propertional decrease in the photosynthetic rate, the internal CO2 concentration increases over the entire salinity range, even though st

The results indicated that soluble sugar content, soluble protein content, prolin content and cyanide resistant respiration intensity increased significantly during the hiberation and the initial spring; amylase activily increase during the preceding winter, catalase activity increase during cold and high temperature season, the starch content of the root is arrived to 43% (DW) during spring.
