Abstract: Two names Betula jiulungensis (Betulaceae) and Rubia ovatifolia (Rubiaceae) were not validly published because two gatherings were simultaneously designated as types in the protologues. Two names are here validated with the fame specimen or the flowering specimen as the holotype respectively.
