A STUDY ON THE SPORE MORPHOLOGY OF MONOMELANGIUM PULLINGERI

Abstract: In the present paper, the morphological characteristics of the spores of Monomelangium pullingeri (Bak.) Tagawa were studied by light and scanning electron microscope.The spore is monolete, with a unique perispore.The perispore surface is hairlike under the light microscope and is dense reticulum mingled by fibrous sculptuces and crowded up into lophos under the SEM.The exospore is smooth or fine granulate.
