Abstract: In present paper, 3 genera and 8 taxa of Gomphonemaceae from Northeastern China are studied by light and scanning electron microscope.They are:Gomphonema:G.subtile var.sagitta (Schum.) Cl., G.constrictum var.capitatum f.itallica Mayer., G.tenellumKü tz., G.semiapertum Grun., G.vastum var.elongata Skv.;Gomphoneis:G.olivaceoides (Hust) Carter&Bailey-Watts.G.quadripunctatum (φstr.) Dawson ex Ross&Sims.;Didymosphenia:D.geminata (Lyngb.) M.Schmidt.The problem of taxonomy and ecological distribution are discussed preliminarily, and some new taxa are first reported from China.
