STUDY ON MORPHOLOGY OF FOLIAR GLANDULAR HAIRS IN MENTHA SACHALINENSIS KUDO

Abstract: The Structure and development process about glandular hairs on foliar surface of Mentha suchalinensis kudo.in Northeast of china were investegated.There were two types of glandular hairs:The multicellular peltate hairs and the unicellular capitate hairs.The peltate hairs were composed of one base cell, one stalk cell and a head of eight to twelve secreting-cells.The capitate hairs consisted of one base cell, one stalk cell and a uni-celled head.
