The Phylogeny of Genera of Compositae in China, which is the sister paper, On the Primary Study of the Systematics and Floristics of Compositae (in the World) in 1993, is dedicated, and the Floristic Elements of Geography of it in China is also offered. There are 240 genera, in which 24 were introduced and cultivated for a long time, in China, and it is included in two subfamilies, 5 supertribes and 11 tribes. In the genera 7 are the world-wide distributions, 19 are the pantropic or to warm subtropic, or N. hemispheric-Africal (Eurasia-N. America -Africa) distributional genera, 32 genera are Asia-N. America, Asia-Pacific, Asia-Africa, or Asia discontinuous distributions with other 2 continents, 28 are the Mediterranean-E. or S. Asia distributional genera, 12 genera are Eurasia distribution and 14 genera are N. Temperate-wide distribution, 45 genera are C. Asian, or C. Asian-Qinghai-Xizang Plateau-Himalayan Mts. distributions, 5 are Asian Tropic or warm subtropic distributional genera, 19 are N. E. Asia, and 6 are Asia-wide distributional genera. Besides, there are 29 endemic genera in China. It is obvious, the floristic characteres of geography are:1. The Floristic Elements of Geography of Compositae in China are with rich continental distributional or discontinuously distributional genera, and both of which are 112 genera in China, and in it 86 genera are with tropic relationship in Floristics; 2. There are 75 genera, which distribute in both China and other Asian countries, especially with C. Asian countries or the C. Asia-Qinghai-Xizang Plateau-Himalayn Mts. distributions, latter are contained 45 genera. Besides, there are 28 genera, which distribute in the Mediterranean and also in China, and 3. There are 29 endemic genera in China, especially in Hengduang-Himalayan Mts. areas, where 13 genera are contained. It is, perhaps, migrated into Asia, then to China and diverged many genera and species, incl. the regional endemic genera and species, from the ancestors of tribes and genera of Compositae from speciation centre before or in Tertiary Period. Most of the ancestors of genera of Trib. Heliantheae, Inuleae, Eupatorieae, Senecioneae, Vernonieae and Mutisieae were migrated along the Gondwana Land, via S. America, S. Africa, Australia and also S. Asia, where the ancestor entered into S. and S.-E. China, a few genera of above tribes migrated along Laurasia Land, through N.-W. America into N. Asia, then to N. or N.-E. China. But the ancestors of genera of Trib. Anthemideae and Astereae were mainly migrated from speciation centre along Laurasia Land and via N.-W. America into N. Asia, only a few ancestors of the tribes migrated into Europe and some genera migrated along Gondwana Land into S. America Australia, and S. Asia, and distributed in S., S.-E. and S.-W. China. Besides, the ancestors of Trib. Calenduleae, Cynareae and Cichorieae migrated mainly along Gondwana Land, but in Africa, through the Mediterranean, C. Asia or S.-W. Asia into China. Those genera are distributed mainly in N.-W. and S.-W. China, except a few more widely distributional genera, which are also distributed in N.-E. and S.-E. China.

The new species of
Dicranostigma.D.henanensis
S.Y.Wang et L.H.Wu, from Henan provice is described in this paper. It is similar to
D.leptopodum
(Maxim.) Feddle, but differs from the latter by the numbers of stems (reaching to 80cm high) varying form 8 to 40, the length of leaves reaching to 29cm, petals varying from 1.5 to 2.4cm, capsule from 7 to 15cm, and seeds 1mm long.It is also similar to
D.iliensis
C.Y.Wu, but the difference between them are that the stems are higher than latter, the sepals are covered with short pubescence and ovary with tuberculate hairs, seeds are in ovoid from. The present paper also reports the karyotype of the new species. The karyotypic formula was K (2n)=2x=12=6m (2SAT)+2sm+2st+2T.One pair of satelites was lo cated in the first pair of chromosomes.Under normal conditions, only one satelite was found cleary, sometimes all of them were not found clearly. The karyotypic asymmetry belongs to Stebbins' 2B type.

We deal with the anatomy of young stems and leaves of some Caragana species, the results are as follows:the young stems of all five observed species are identical in general structure, which have the characteristics of 5-7 cortical strands of fibers and developed periderm, in accordance with those of some other species by previous reports. The structure differences of leaves of eight observed species are mainly in the following aspects:with or without hypoderm, differential degrees of palisade and spongy tissue, and quantities of tanniniferous contents in mesophyll. The specialization of anatomical structure in
Caragana erinacea
, a species of high altitude representatives of Xizang (Tibet) and Sichuan, reflects the adaptation to special habitat of high altitude and cold, and this enablesa plant to differentiate strongly into xeromorphic structure. Therefore, it is of obvious significance in ecological adaptability.

With the aid of Hegyis' single tree competition index model, we have quantitatively analysed the intraspecific and interspecific competition intensity of
Gordonia acuminata
at its different developing stages within its own community. The results ws have got show:the intraspecific competition of
Gordonia acuminata
is more intensive than interspecific competitions with other species of accompanying trees; The competition intensity of competitive tree against objective tree and the size of objective tree are subject to power function, and competition intensity decreases with the increase of the size of objective tree;apart from these, there is a obviously negative correlation between the growth speed of objective tree and competition index.

The transition form of organs of the primary vascular tissue in CNZ was telome elongation type was showed in anatomical observation on primary vascular system of seedlings of
Solanum melongena
according to the theory of CNZ.This form was different from the mesome elongation type in CNZ in some primitive family and genus, such as Ranunculaceae in Choripetae etc.The lower part of CNZ was shorter. But the middle one was extremely long.therefor, the cotyledon node zone-root transition region was extraordinary short, same as the connection region of vascular tissue between the epicotyl shoot zone and the cotyledon node zone. The transform of vascular tissue mainly occured in the middle of CNZ.

We studied the effects of root tip cells treated Hordeum vulgare with NaCl solution, observed sister chromatid exchanges (SCE) and mitotic division. When treated concentration of NaCl solution is inhanced,SCE frequency increased significantly but cell division decreased. Our date of seedlings growth inhibition suggest that this is concentration-dependent.The higher concentration is taken, the slower seedlings grow.It shows that concentration control the splits of cells.High concentration leads to DNA recombination. The results indicate that high concentration of NaCl solution is toxic to growth of seedlings and cells,it is potential mutagenic and classtogenic.

Some physiological changes of cold resistance was investigated, when
Ruta Graveolens Linn
was planted in high latitudes region far from its original place without low temperature under zero. Results showed that, with decrease of temperature, soluble sugar content、soluble protein content and catalase activity increased.Memberance permeability is stable, starch content declined, rate of respiration fell gradually. But cyanide resistant respiration is more steady. It didn't decline appearantly until the temperature dropped to -20℃ while cyanide resistant respiration played a dominant role.

This paper show that:Both chlorine content and memberane permeability of leaves of trees increased with seasons.Chlorophyll contents of trees polluted by chlorine decreased, remarkably.Absorptive capacity of trees is not equal to hardiness completely.Though capacity of chlorine absorptive of elm was more intensive than other trees, hardiness of elm against chlorine was in middle levels.Either capacity of chlorine absorption or hardiness of poplar was in middle levels, which of boxelder in lower level.Willow possessed intensive capacity of chlorine absorption, and could withstand chlorine harm.
