Abstract: Using the agrobacterium-mediated approach, the anti-insect gene (the chimeric genes of spider insecticidal and Bt) was successfully transformed into the acceptor of Populus nigra×Populus deltoids “108” as explant. Through PCR analysis, the agarose gel electrophoresis result displayed that six of eight Kanamycin fastness seedlings had target genes; Through PCRSouthern blots analysis, the result showed that the positive rate was 50%, and further indicated that the target genes had been inserted into the genomes of Populus nigra×Populus deltoids “108” plants successfully.
Key words: Populus nigra×, Populus deltoids &ldquo, 108&rdquo, the chimeric genes of spider insecticidal and Bt, PCR-Southern blots analysis
