The effects of exogenous hormones on induction, multiplication and rooting of explants were discussed. The regeneration system of S.hexandrum has been established. The results showed that: The optimal conditions for shoot induction were 3.0 mg·L-1 6-BA+0.5 mg·L-1 GA-3. The induction rate was 85.71% with a shortening of 30-40 d. For multiplication, the optimal conditions were 3.0 mg·L-1 6-BA+0.2 mg·L-1 IAA, and the mean shoots obtained per explant was 1.63. The most proper rooting medium was: WPM+1.5 mg·L-1 IAA+0.5 mg·L-1 NAA and the rooting ratio was 60.1% after 30 d culturing. %U https://bbr.nefu.edu.cn/EN/10.7525/j.issn.1673-5102.2012.04.018
