Asplenium ritoense Hayata (Aspleniaceae), new to Hainan Island

Abstract: Asplenium ritoense Hayata (Aspleniaceae) is recorded for the first time from Hainan Island. This species in most Chinese taxonomic literature is named as Asplenium davallioides Hook., which is an illegitimate name. The nomenclature of this species ought be rectified.
