Abstract: The content distribution of total flavonoids in different parts of Hippophae rhamnoides L.from Russia was investigated. The sample pretreatment process involved ultrasonic extraction. The total flavonoids were determined by spectrophotometry, rutin as control sample. The experiment results showed that the contents of total flavonoids in leaf, pulp and pericarp were respectively(1.71%), (0.76%) and(0.55%), that the means content of total flavonoids in leaf is(2.3) and(3.1) times higher than that in pulp and pericarp.Thereby the leaf of Hippophae rhamnoides L.from Russia has value to be developed and used.
