Abstract: This paper summarized the concepts, methods and dynamics in recent biodiversity research according to the up-to-date publications in the world and the author's experiences.Some methods and techniques, such as morphorlogy, taxanomy, isozyme, RFLP and RAPD, have been comparied on the oak research.Research objectives and their corresponding techniques must be considered as the preliminary condition for the expected results Molecular biology methods are very important for the biodiversity, particularly for the genetic diversity studies.Combined with the concept, methods and result discussion, this paper introduced some recent development tendency on biodiversity conservation research.
