Abstract: In this paper, the leaves of 13 populations of Allium hookeri Thwaites, A.hookeri var.muliense Airy-Shaw and A.omeiense Z.Y.Zhu were analysed by thin-layer chromatography of flavonoides. It was found that the types of chromatography of different populations of 3 taxa were not affected on the ecological factors and the ploidy level.According to the types of chromatograms, 13 populations of A.hookeri were divided into three groups, furthermore, the groups are consistent with the habits of A.hookeri.The result shows that intraspecific differentiation perhaps take place in A.hookeri.
