Abstract: Anatomic studies and cytological observation of the floral nectary in Elaeagnus angustifolia L.were investigated with light and scanning electron microscopy, Elaeagnus angustifolia of floral nectary located on the tubular disc in the base of the style, it belongs to disc nectary. The nectary located on the outside of the disc, which is composed of epidermis and nectariferous tissue. The cuticula and modified stomata are present in the epidermal layer.During the development of nectariferous tissue, both the vacuole and the starch grains occurred regularly decrease and increase change. Finally, the nectar secreted from the stoma on the surface of the disc nectary.
