Abstract: We studied the effects of root tip cells treated Hordeum vulgare with NaCl solution, observed sister chromatid exchanges (SCE) and mitotic division. When treated concentration of NaCl solution is inhanced,SCE frequency increased significantly but cell division decreased. Our date of seedlings growth inhibition suggest that this is concentration-dependent.The higher concentration is taken, the slower seedlings grow.It shows that concentration control the splits of cells.High concentration leads to DNA recombination. The results indicate that high concentration of NaCl solution is toxic to growth of seedlings and cells,it is potential mutagenic and classtogenic.
