Abstract: The effect on the germination rate, the division of root tip's cells, the meiosis and peroxidase isoenzyme of tomato seeds irradiated with 60Co-Ray and cultivated were observed. The results revealed that the seeds germination rate is highest, the abnormal rate is highest, the type of abnormal chromosome is most abundant, the meiosis is lowest, the activity of peroxidase isoenzyme is highest, when irradiation dose is in range 10-20 Krad.

Key words: 60Co-r Ray, Abnormal chromosome, Meiosis, Peroxidase isoenzyme
